Professor Marcus Farr will be conducting a skillset development workshop at Dayeh University with longtime friend and architect Ming Lai. The workshop, "Standard/Non-Standard: Using Landfills and Waste as Material Strategies", takes place at the Dayeh University, School of Architecture in Taichung, Taiwan, and Dacun Township, Changhua County, Taiwan.
This invitational workshop from the School of Architecture at Dayeh University presents a unique opportunity to engage in a comprehensive workshop and lecture series. In 2018, I was honored to be officially invited as the university’s “International Visiting Scholar.” During this engagement, I delivered a series of public lectures as part of the school's esteemed lecture series. Additionally, I conducted two supplementary lectures and led a week-long Skillset Development Workshop, enhancing the practical abilities of the participants. I also had the privilege of being one of three distinguished guests speaking at the Dayeh Architectural Symposium, contributing to the rich academic and professional discourse.
