These projects work with patterning, material, light quality and 1:1 prototyping with kerfing.  Starting with paper prototypes and then moving up in size and scale, these projects ultimately are made from flat sheets using 400 watt lasers. Structural stability, aesthetic quality, form as a result of consequence, design decisions and manufacturing ability are part of the overall pedagogical agenda.
